Fremantle will head into next weekend's season-defining clash against North Melbourne with a number of injury concerns.
Captain Matthew Pavlich appeared to suffer from upper leg problems in their 22-point win over Richmond on Saturday and left the field a number of times to receive treatment on his hamstring, groin and hip throughout the match.
He finished the game on the bench and limped noticeably after the final siren.
Fremantle coach Ross Lyon the skipper has become a week-to-week proposition.
"He's just been having hamstring tightness and Achilles tightness that he's managed for years," he said.
"But it was quite acute last week in the Adelaide game and post Adelaide we didn't think he would play.
"Credit to our doctors and physios - the sports science division and medical team just find a way to get players up.
"It's a credit to Matthew he finds a way. He didn't train all week."
Young gun Nat Fyfe gathered 21 possessions in his return after missing last week due to a rolled ankle in his hotel room and he copped another knock late against Richmond.
"(Fyfe) tweaked that ankle at the end," Lyon said.
"We had two players come in under significant doubt, it was Matthew Pavlich and Nathan Fyfe.
"If there were two I expected to pull out it was going to be Matthew Pavlich and Nathan Fyfe.
Adding to the Dockers medical room woes, midfielder Tendai Mzungu left the ground with four minutes left in the match holding his shoulder.
But Lyon played down the incident.
"Tendai's got a bit of a sore shoulder, he tweaked it at the end," he said.
Aaron Sandilands made his return from a toe injury that has kept him sidelined since Round 11.
He was called into the team in bizarre circumstances when Jon Griffin was ruled out with a groin injury just minutes before the team took to the field for their final warm up and Lyon conceded it was not ideal preparation.
"We clearly thought Aaron was under done," he said.Lyon said even if Griffin was able to recover in time for next weekend's match against North Melbourne it is unlikely he would come into consideration following Sandilands performance.
