Aussies take aim at 'perfect villain' SBW

As the big game gets closer, the banter between bitter rivals Australia and New Zealand is heating up.

And it seems the Australians are so scared of Sonny Bill Williams they have even gone as far as creating a Voodoo doll of the New Zealand rugby star.

Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph printed a cut-out of the former NRL ace who controversially left the Canterbury Bulldogs to switch codes and join French Top 14 side Toulon.

An editor from the paper has said Sonny Bill Williams is the 'perfect villain' and told Radio New Zealand that baiting the All Blacks and their fans gives Australia 'great amusement.'

The doll is apparently to 'cheer the whole community up' as Australia battle with the recession and the recent carbon tax.

"Ever since he walked out of the NRL club, he's always had a dubious reputation here.

"He's the perfect villain." He added.

And it seems the doll may already be working as Sonny Bill has been benched for the All Blacks in Graham Henry's team named today.
