Bizarre story with legs
A couple have been rescued from inside a drain, with a bizarre story to go with their misfortune.
It's believed the pair were thrown from a motorbike in the Hubei Province in China, and ended up in the 50cm diameter pipe.
The UK's Daily Mail reports that the force of the collision meant the unlucky duo were wedged in tight.
A team of firefighters were brought in to free them.
Officer Yu Chunyou is quoted as saying, "Without immediate rescue, they would have been in trouble because of the polluted air in the tunnel and the dirty water."
Chinese media reports that the rescue took about ten minutes, but there is no confirmation yet as to how the couple ended up in the drain.
