A man who drank a bottle of vodka and passed out has woken up to find 15cm penis tattooed on his leg.

Local Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reported the 27-year-old man, known as Joel, recalls little of the night that led to the body art attack.

It is believed he announced to a group of friends that he wanted to get a drunken tattoo after admiring one on the finger of a mate at a hamburger restaurant.

As far-fetched as it sounds, in the restaurant sitting near the group was a tattoo artist who agreed to Joel's wish.

Despite waking up with an X-rated image on his leg, Joel said he has no anger towards the tattoo artist.

"I found out afterwards who it was," Joel told Aftonbladet.

"The last thing I remember is leaving my apartment.
