Wellington Phoenix goalkeeper Mark Paston has failed a fitness test and will miss their A League match against the Newcastle Jets in Wellington tonight.
Paston's hip injury is close to being right, but coach Ricki Herbert decided to keep him on ice until Sunday's home game.
Reece Crowther will start in goal, with Jonathon Gould the reserve keeper.
