Tim Bailey in 'live TV attack'

Channel 10's weatherman Tim Bailey had to fend off a couple of girls who intruded on his live cross to the news last night.

News presenter Deborah Knight crossed to Bailey, who was with The Australian Girls Choir at Darling Harbour.

Just before the incident Bailey was commenting how good it was to be back at work.

"Isn't it lovely to come back to work after a holiday and work with some of your favourite guests on this weather segment," Bailey said.

A few seconds into the segment, two teenage girls lunged towards him and grabbed him.

The weatherman was heard saying "excuse me, excuse me" before trying to restrain the girls.

The news then quickly cut back to the studio after Bailey was moving off camera.

This is a croc on double standards. Sure Timmy is abit of a tool at times but we take such a light position on these kinds of security breaches but if they were muslim boys lets see what your jovial attitudes would suddenly change to. Coincidental? Funny how when the girls try to get away from him, he still has a hold on them. What a setup for the old has-been. He even has a tie that matches the girls outfits! Take a permanant holiday in your convertible SAAB and get off the TV.......seriously! 10

so many comments have been in agreement - that this guy is a total jerk. So why do they have pricks like this on the network. We all need to write to the network and get him off air. Trouble is, i reckon the networks know he's a jerk, and put him on air in the belief that people will watch ...
