Drink drivers caught in blitz

South Australian police are disappointed drivers are not heeding the drink driving message with a total of 53 drivers losing their licences immediately during an overnight statewide police testing blitz.

An 18-year-old P-plater recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.225 at Aldinga, while in Bordertown, a 41-year-old man recorded a level of 0.222.

Police say out of 91 drivers tested on Mann Terrace at North Adelaide, one in 10 tested positive for alcohol in their system.
