The row between rival camel operators on Broome's Cable Beach will go before a magistrate today.
The tussle over ownership of two of Broome's camel tour companies has gone on for years but was brought to a head last month when Chris Hill, who operates the Ships of the Desert company, was charged with stealing, burglary and criminal damage.
Detectives have now added a charge of stealing as a servant.Police allege Mr Hill slashed the tyres of a rival's car and stole more than 2000 camel toys and ornaments from another.
The victim of the alleged theft has filed Supreme Court writs against Mr Hill and the Broome Shire in a bid to reclaim ownership of the Ships of the Desert business.
