Good Samaritan hands in $100k

A woman who handed-in a small case she found in an alleyway in Melbourne's south-east was shocked to discover it contained $100,000.

The woman noticed the package as she left work at a post office in Clayton South yesterday afternoon.

She handed it in to police, who discovered the money inside.

Police say they believe security guards left the case behind after they checked an ATM.

Chubb Security says it is investigating.
