A committal hearing has begun in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court for a man accused of murdering a woman in the Todd River earlier this year.
The body of the 41-year-old woman was found south of the Wills Terrace causeway on June 29.
Joachim Golder has been charged with her murder and assaulting another man on the same night.Police said at the time that the woman had extensive injuries to her body.
The Crown prosecutor, Nanette Rogers, has tendered photographs showing blood stains and finger drag marks in the sand as well as others showing injuries to the deceased woman's head.The hearing was told Golder's shoes were seized at the Alice Springs watch house for forensic tests and police are still awaiting forensic results for a number of items.
