A man has been arrested following a stand-off with police in New Norfolk in Tasmania's south.
Police were called to the scene at about six o'clock this morning, and the stand-off lasted for about three hours.
Sergeant Darren Latham says it was resolved without incident."Police were called to a disturbance in Pioneer Avenue, they've attended, and it will be alleged they were confronted by a man with a knife.
"A negotiation occurred over a few hours and it was safely resolved," said Sergeant Latham.
