A man has died after his truck crashed into a swimming pool at a house in Sydney's south.
Police said the truck went through an intersection and hit a traffic light on Akuna Street, Bangor at about 5.20pm (AEDT) on Thursday.
"After that impact the truck has gone through a fence and crashed into a swimming pool," a police spokeswoman told AAP."The truck stopped approximately one metre from the house."
The spokeswoman said the 55-year-old truck driver was killed and police are preparing a report for the coroner.
