A woman suffered a suspected broken jaw when a mugger punched her in the face before running off with her bag.
The woman was taken to Canterbury Hospital after the attack in southwest Sydney at 8pm (AEDT) on Thursday.
Police say she was walking along Berna St, Canterbury, when the man approached then punched her, before running off towards Canterbury Rd.
Police are now looking for a man described as being in his mid-20s, of Middle Eastern appearance, 160cm tall, with short black hair.
