Parents hand in son accused of terrorising Sydney taxi drivers

The son of a prominent Sydney doctor has been charged with terrorising and robbing taxi drivers after his parents handed him into police.

When Nick Spasojevic was arrested, police weren’t required to kick his door down or draw their weapons, his parents did it for them.

After seeing his image shared on 7 News one night earlier, they dragged their 20-year-old son to Sydney's Day Street Police Station where he handed himself in.

He didn’t apply for bail, meaning Mr Spasojevic spent Sunday night locked away in a cell – a far cry from his Vaucluse home.
