Man killed as Great Ocean Road is closed after horrific bus crash
A man has been killed and dozens left injured after a bus crash on Victoria's Great Ocean Road.
Victoria Police said the bus, towing a trailer, was travelling west on the Great Ocean Road when it left the road, rolled and crashed into a tree just after 5pm.
A 38-year-old man died at the scene.
A second person trapped beneath the bus was freed before being transported to hospital in a serious condition.
The driver, a 49-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries while the remaining 27 passengers were treated for minor injuries.
The Great Ocean Road remains closed as investigations continue.
