WATCH: Van turns in front of car but driver claims innocence

Passing the blame for car crashes was considerably easier before dashcams existed, but that wasn’t going to stop one oblivious mini-bus driver from giving it a crack anyway.

Turning around a corner, the white mini-bus appeared completely unaware he was about to try and turn in front of a sedan travelling down the same road.

The dashcam sedan owner came off much worse for wear as his car crumpled under the bigger van.

“Us young 'P plate' drivers are only as good as the other drivers we share the road with. Can you believe the bus driver was convinced he wasn't at fault?” the driver of the silver car wrote.

Not everyone was convinced that the driver did everything he could to avoid the accident and suggested he could have beeped or slowed down more promptly when he realised the bus driver was backing himself in.

“Reaction time of a sloth,” one viewer wrote.

“The car had plenty time to hit brakes instead of horn,” wrote another.
