Onlookers claimed they saw kids running away from the rocks screaming about 7am, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Initially it was thought a child had been in an accident.

It’s reported the body was covered in scratches when it was found under the popular coastal walking track.

Police said the man was of ‘mature age’.

He was found without any identification or belongings.

The death did not appear to be suspicious.
