Baby, woman in hospital after crash

A baby has been seriously injured and a woman is fighting for life after a car plunged into a creek in southeast Queensland.

The car swerved down an embankment off Anzac Avenue, Moreton Bay, and clipped a concrete pylon before plunging into a creek at around 4.30am on Christmas Day.

A 35-year-old woman was trapped inside the vehicle and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

A baby was taken to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, a 25-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with minor.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
