Children watch as keeper dragged by tiger
A young girl filmed the terrifying moment a female trainer desperately hit at a tiger during a terrifying attack at a US fairground.
It’s believed the woman is an animal trainer and was working with the 2-year-old tiger at the Pensacola Interstate fair in Florida.
The footage shows the keeper being knocked to the ground by the tiger who is called ‘Gandhi’.
The keeper is then heard shouting, “Gandhi, no!” as it gnawed at her jeans.
She then started punching and kicking the animal, before being dragged across the cage.
Another keeper rushes to the rescue with a rod, leaving the gate open.
Eventually the tiger lets go and the keeper scrambles away.
The keeper reassured onlookers saying, "I'm okay, I'm okay".
The footage was captured by a young girl who was on a school trip. Her father Scott Caputo posted it online saying, “Holly [daughter] thinks it was no big deal, I thought it was horrifying."
