Gang of teens filmed trashing Sydney hotel apartment
Shocking video has emerged of a group of teenagers trashing a Sydney hotel room.
The incident took place at the Meriton apartments in Zetland on Saturday.
Witnesses said some of the group could be as young as 16.
They were filmed vandalizing a room with one of the youths seen smashing a light-fitting with a traffic cone, before the glass shattered around him.
Another took off his jumper and did a run-up to a door that he then smashed through, as friends cheered him on.
A snapchat video captured the aftermath.
The vandals didn't seem too concerned about the incidents, saying they only paid $1,500 bond, but they could be forced to cough up more money as Meriton investigates.
The company said it could not yet put a cash figure on the damage but that it was ‘significant’.
Maintenance crews were going to access the damage and police could become involved.
