Police focus Karen Ristevski search on family holiday spot, dismiss claims she's 'overseas'
Police trying to find missing Melbourne mother Karen Ristevski have rejected claims she's fled overseas, and commenced a new search at a former family holiday spot.
The Ristevski's have holidayed at Barmah National Park in the State's north multiple times, with police now turning their attention to the park's bushland.
The new search comes just hours after Karen's brother-in-law claimed she had run away and was in hiding.
“I reckon she’s run away. That’s my feeling, what with all the rumours going on about [her stepson] Anthony [Rickard]," Vasko Ristevski told NewsCorp.
“A lot of husbands do that [murder] for some reason, but no way is (Karen's husband and Vasko's brother) Borce capable of that.
“I don’t think she will come back, I reckon she’s gone for good.”

Her bank accounts and mobile phone have not been used since, leading police to hold serious concerns for her welfare.
The police search for Karen remains firmly focused on Victoria, with no evidence the missing mother had left the state or travelled overseas.
Karen Ristevski is described as 160cm tall, slim build, with shoulder-length brown hair.
