Man tasered after going on rampage with baseball bat
A man has been tasered by police after allegedly going on a rampage with a baseball bat.
The incident reportedly occurred in Auburn on Sunday night, at Mary Street and Auburn road.
Police pleaded with the man to drop the weapon, but he refused.
The man was arrested, having allegedly smashed a nearby telephone booth with the bat.
Footage shows the man wielding the bat at police and gesturing fiercely at the intersection of the busy roads.
Loud shouts can be heard before police charge at the man, placing him under arrest.
