Man filmed in shirtless, intoxicated rage at Gold Coast coffee shop
Three innocent people have been assaulted in an alcohol-fuelled rampage filmed outside a busy Gold Coast coffee chain store.
Around 8pm Friday the alleged attacker started hurling chairs, tables and signs outside Starbucks on Surfers Paradise Boulevard.
Numerous bystanders recorded the shirtless man in an intoxicated rage.
When a female worker tried to calm him down she was pushed.
"It was pretty scary," witness Tina Truong told 7 News.
"This big guy, this fella, with a lot of tattoos and topless was just randomly smashing the chairs and hitting the customers at Starbucks."
Holmview man Aaron Peter Smith was released on bail despite facing multiple assault charges.
