Enraged driver pelts woman's car with golf balls during terrifying road rage incident in Queensland

A terrified Gold Coast woman and her passenger were forced to endure a horrific road rage attack while driving on the M1, after they reportedly rejected the unwelcome advances of an enraged motorist.

The victims of the shocking attack are lucky to be alive, after the aggressor threw golf balls at them while both vehicles were travelling in excess of 100km/h on the busy highway.

“This is what happens when you don't let men flirt with you,” one woman can be heard saying on the dash cam.

The road-rager can then be seen in the footage obtained by the Gold Coast Bulletin swerving dangerously close to the victim’s car while also yelling abuse.

Moments later the man starts hurling golf balls at the two women in a horrifying attack.

"Stop it! Are you actually kidding me?" a passenger can be heard screaming at the man.

The attack occurred around lunch time on Saturday at Nerang and was witnessed by several stunned motorists, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin.

This shocking attack on the 25-year-old female driver is not the first.

The victim who refuses to reveal her name for fear of further attacks, also alleged she recently had a shotgun pointed at during another incident at Arundel late last year.

“This kind of thing is just happening too often — we should be able to feel safe out and about on the Coast,” she said.

“On Saturday I was driving along the M1 and a guy wound down his window and started waving, blowing kisses and winking. I just ignored him.”

“I was driving at 100km/h on the highway and I have a partner — flirting with some guy in a car is the last thing I want to do.”

“He started driving like a crazy person, got up close and started pegging golf balls at my car, while yelling at me,” the woman said.

She said the man eventually sped up and disappeared.

“Luckily I had a dash cam installed in my car after the first road-rage incident," she told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

“I caught the whole thing on camera and have supplied the footage to the police.”

The woman said her car was damaged in the attack but more ¬importantly the man’s actions could have seriously injured or killed her or other motorists.

The car involved was a blue Ford Falcon with Queensland numberplate 286VUP.

The driver is described as being in his late teens with brown hair.
