A woman has been charged with murder over her alleged role in the Ingleburn factory siege in Sydney's southwest, earlier this year.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad arrested the 31-year-old woman on Tuesday and processed her at Campbelltown Police Station, NSW Police said in a statement.

The arrest followed an investigation into the March 7 shooting death of a 44-year-old Michael Bassal at a factory unit for sign-writing company National Signage on Herald Road.

Mr Bassal died at the scene, while his two brothers were also injured in the attack carried out by 33-year-old gunman, Wayne Williams, believed to have links to the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang.

After police laid siege to the factory for more than six hours, Williams turned the gun on himself.

Detectives working with Strike Force Belgica, set up to investigate the shooting, believe the incident was sparked by a business dispute.

The woman was charged with murder and accessory after the fact to murder.

She was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court Wednesday.
