Russian police shoot bear after it 'broke in' to local shopping centre

Russian police have been forced to take down a bear after it ran riot in a shopping centre.

The Kamchatka brown bear somehow got into the precinct in the city of Khabarovsk about midnight on Tuesday.

According to LifeNews the bear roamed around the centre for about 10 minutes, which was closed at the time.

It then burst out the front doors and on to the street, where an onlooker screamed in terror.

Sadly, the bear was shot dead by police after it wandered too close to a primary school.
