Skateboarding Bieber busted by security guards

The ever-controversial, sometimes annoying, always interesting pop star Justin Bieber had a run in with a security guard in Sydney this morning.

The guard was busy ruling Bieber’s skateboarding antics out of bounds as he went for a ride in a pedestrian filled area of the city.

But while the 21-year-old singer has been known for diva antics when confronted with normal-people-problems like rules, he does not appear to give too much lip to the security worker.

He tucks his board beneath his arm and immediately turns his back on the man as he is flanked by his entourage.

Earlier, it was the pedestrians in Sydney who got the rock star treatment.

Not because they were showered with glitz and glamour, but because they had the privilege of trying to stand clear of a the pop star taking his skateboard for speedy run through The Rocks.

The divisive singer was shadowed by a group of fans as videos of his attempts to skate Sydney began popping up across social media.

It is questionable whether or not the What Do You Mean singer was breaking any rules with his early morning outing though.

While it is legal to ride skateboards on footpaths – under certain conditions, it is not a free for all.

Skateboarders are required to give way to pedestrians. Those making their way to work in Bieber’s path this morning may argue that he could be in line for a fine on that front.

With a net worth estimated in the order of $200 million, that $54 penalty could really ruin the 21-year-old’s trip to Australia.
