Clive Palmer stars in ‘Peanut Butter Jelly’ parody

Politician Clive Palmer has stared in a bizarre music video parody in which he spreads some ‘Palmer butter jelly’ over a man and dances around in a rabbit onesie.

The parody of the hit song Peanut Butter Jelly, was filmed at Perth radio station hit929 on Friday morning.

In the video, shot with breakfast hosts Heidi, Will and Woody, Palmer sings “Spread it like Palmer butter jelly — do it and I’ll give ya some money” and “spread it all over little Tony (Abbott)”.

Mr Palmer spreads handfuls of peanut butter over the chest of host Will McMahon, who is holding a cut-out of Prime Minister Tony Abbott’ face.

As soon as the beat drops, Palmer gets his grove on with radio staff. He jumps around like the rabbit that he is dressed up as, waving streamers and pulls some truly unique moves.

While this is certainly a new side to Palmer that we haven’t seen before, it is not the first time the politician has left the public stunned.

Palmer previously teamed up with breakfast radio hosts Heidi, Will and Woody in a spoof Culture Club’s hit Karma Chameleon, which celebrated Palmer’s successes and labeled Abbott a bore.

Last month the Member for Fairfax released a peculiar video of himself practicing his farewells to House of Representatives Speaker Bronywyn Bishop.

He also made a farewell video for former Queensland premier Campbell Newman.

Then there was the time he got his twerk on while being interviewed by Kyle and Jackie O.

As well as the time, he claimed Rupert Murdoch's former wife Wendi Deng was a Chinese spy.

He really is like no politician we have ever seen before.
