A RUNAWAY hot air balloon dragged a 4WD through a group of tents and across a clearing at a Wisconsin hot air balloon festival leaving several people with minor injuries.
Video taken by spectators shows staff struggling to hold down the partially deflated balloon as strong winds blow it off the ground.
Seconds later, another gust sends bystanders fleeing from underneath a second balloon.
The vessel is then swept through the air, pulling a 4WD that it was tethered to into a group of tents.
Several people suffered minor injuries trying to secure the balloon, which eventually crashed back to the ground.
