Bomb threat in Adelaide a deliberate hoax

Police called to suspected bomb threat in Adelaide

South Australia Police reports it has cleared two suspicious packages in Adelaide's northern suburbs.

One of the packages had the words "This is a bomb" and 'Teli-ban 4 life (sic)", written on the outside in black marker.

Emergency services were alerted to the potential bomb threat at Salisbury East at about 10am following a tip off from the public.

Police have confirmed that neither package contained explosives, however, they are still investigating one package.

Both of the boxes have been removed and the contents from one, which is believed to be cannabis, has been taken for forensic testing.
