Accused Launceston lawyer Adrian Hall found guilty of stealing

A Supreme Court jury has found high-profile Tasmanian lawyer Adrian John Hall guilty of stealing.

The 39-year-old had pleaded not guilty to eight counts of stealing.

The prosecution alleged he stole nearly $18,000 from his former Launceston law firm, Grant Tucker, between 2010 and 2012.

The jury convicted him on four counts, involving various sums of money.

He was found not guilty on four other stealing charges.

Hall has been released on bail to re-appear next week.
