Phillip Hughes sent messages of support by international cricket community

The international cricket community has posted messages of support for South Australia cricketer Phillip Hughes who has undergone surgery after being hit in the head by a bouncer at the SCG.

The former Test batsman collapsed after the ball hit him in the head and he was taken to St Vincent's hospital by ambulance.

Hughes underwent surgery on Tuesday afternoon and remains in a critical condition.

Australian and international cricketers sent messages of support to Hughes via social media.
