Man stabbed repeatedly at Sydney mall

A teenager is seriously injured in hospital after being stabbed repeatedly in a shopping centre carpark in southwest Sydney.

Police said the 19-year-old man was sitting in his parked car on Tuesday night when he was attacked by a group of males.

After stabbing the man numerous times, the group fled, and the teenager ran into the Oran Park mall.

A member of the public applied first aid before paramedics arrived and treated the man for multiple stab wounds to his chest, shoulder and face.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the group, or the dark-coloured Subaru they escaped in.
