Father and son stabbing victims recover

A young man has been taken off life support and is recovering after he and his father were stabbed in an alleged Facebook-arranged fight.

Trevor Allen, 41, and son Trent, 20, suffered critical injuries after they were stabbed in a fight outside a Rouse Hill shopping centre last week in Sydney's northwest.

Mr Allen was stabbed in the stomach, arms and back and Trent was stabbed in the chest.

Mr Allen's partner told News Corp Trent had spent more than three days in intensive care.

"Trent has been taken off life support now but Trent and Trevor were induced into comas and have sustained multiple stab wounds and have undergone hours of surgery," Renee Rubio said.

She said the incident had shattered the family.

Two adult brothers and a teenager have been charged with affray and wounding with intent over the fight.
