Man died after taking woman's drugs
A woman has been charged with supplying a dangerous drug after a man on the Gold Coast died of an overdose.
Police found the 42-year-old man dead after being called to a home on Oceanic Drive, Mermaid Waters, about 5pm on Friday.
After initial investigations, detectives announced on Saturday they had charged a woman, 37, with supplying a dangerous drug.
They will allege she supplied the man with the drug Fentanyl before his death.
However, officers said they were still investigating the circumstances around the man's death.
The woman is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
