Man rescued after three days lost in bush

A man who spent three days lost in the wilderness in Queensland's Lockyer Valley has been taken to hospital suffering exposure.

The 21-year-old was spotted by the RACQ CareFlight chopper about 8am on Tuesday near Table Top Mountain on the outskirts of Toowoomba, west of Brisbane.

He'd spent three days wandering in bushland. The alarm was raised after the man went missing from the Toowoomba suburb of Withcott last Saturday.

The man was taken to the Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.
