Human remains found after Vic factory fire

Human remains have been found following a fire at a steel factory in central Victoria.

The building in Seymour was engulfed in flames when fire fighters arrived about 2.15am (AEST) on Saturday.

The remains were located about 3pm on Sunday and will require forensic testing before an identity can be determined.

A male occupant who was residing at the factory is still unaccounted for, police said.

The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
