WA police seize drugs and money in raid

Four people are facing court after drugs and thousands of dollars in cash were seized during multiple police raids in Perth.

Search warrants were issued on homes in Bull Creek and Balga on Tuesday where they seized about 210g of methylamphetamine, $60,000 in cash, 10 smoking implements, 18g of cannabis, 25ml of methylamphetamine, 100 dexamphetamine tablets, six LSD tabs, mobile phones and other drug paraphernalia.

A 49-year-old man has been charged with possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell and supply, as well as possessing methylamphetamine liquid, cannabis, dexamphetamine, unlawfully obtained property and drug paraphernalia.

A 55-year-old man has been charged with two counts of selling a prohibited drug, and one count each of possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell and supply, and possessing unlawfully obtained property.

Both men are due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.

A 46-year-old man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date on the offences of possessing methylamphetamine, cannabis and unlawfully obtained property.

A 42-year-old woman will also be summonsed to appear in court at a later date on the offence of possessing drug paraphernalia.

The police investigation is ongoing.
