Another charged over Queensland bikie riot

Almost 10 months after the brawl that sparked Queensland's tough anti-bikie laws, police say they have charged the Bandidos' national sergeant-at-arms.

The alleged Bandido heavyweight, 39, faces one count of rioting over the fight at Broadbeach in September 2013.

The incident allegedly involved Bandidos and two men associated with the Finks.

It prompted the state government to crack down on bikie gangs, making it illegal for three or more members to meet in public.

Detective Inspector Brendan Smith said the latest arrest showed investigators' relentless follow-up of the Broadbeach incident.

"The passage of time does not affect our resolve," he said.

Police have charged many others over the brawl, with 24 alleged Bandidos due to face trial in September.

The man is expected to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
