Employee stole $387,700: WA police

A 47-year-old Perth woman has been charged with stealing after she allegedly misappropriated funds totalling more than $380,000 while working for a transport company.

Police allege the woman transferred $210,000 from the business account into her personal account on two occasions.

They also claim the woman racked up about $174,000 in charges on a business debit card for non-work related transactions over three years until March 2013.

And between June 2011 and February 2014, the woman allegedly used a business Motorcharge card to buy about $3700 worth of fuel for non-business purposes.

The Thornlie woman has been charged with four counts of stealing as a servant and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on July 31.
