WATCH: Failed prison break leaves inmate trapped in door
There have been some unbelievably well orchestrated prison breaks over the years, unfortunately this Brazilian inmate’s isn’t one of them.
Step one saw the Santa Catarina prisoner cover himself in sunflower oil in the hope he could slip through the small food hatch in the door.
Halfway through, he probably thought he was a genuine chance.
As anyone other than the ambitious prisoner might have predicted, his plan hit a small hitch: his hips.
Firmly lodged halfway through the cell wall, firefighters had to cut him free with power tools, much to their amusement.
The visibly distressed inmate is heard screaming while those around him figure out the best way to cut him free.
