Citizen pulls over police officer for speeding offence

A United States man has posted a video of his 'citizen's arrest' of a police officer he claims was speeding.

The video shows the man and his passenger following a sheriff's car on the highway with both men heard to remark the driver was speeding.

"He's speeding right here," the driver shouts over the roar of the engine, angling the camera at the police car driving on his right.

"We're doing ninety miles per hour and still going."

"We're going to stop at this red light and I'm gonna talk to this cop and I'm gonna tell him that he is speeding."

"He needs to slow it down."

The man then reads out the car's number to the camera before attempting to pull the car over.

He honks his horn at the driver, muttering under his breath for the police car to "pull over, pull over".

Further down the road, the police car pulls over.

The driver pulls up behind him, frantically unbuckling his seat belt to set the camera up.

His companion gets out of the car and begins admonishing the police officer through the car's window.

The companion returns to the driver's car, with a small grin on his face.

The next shot shows the police car driving much slower, just in front of the driver and his companion.

The two men let out whoops of delight and laughter at their success.

"Motherf****r! Is this a citizen's arrest? Yes it is!" the driver exclaims as they both smack the dashboard with glee.
