Woman arrested while dancing, chanting over lifeless body after 'running over pedestrian'

WARNING, DISTRESSING CONTENT: A Chinese woman was arrested after she allegedly ran over a pedestrian and danced over the victim’s lifeless body, in a disturbing incident caught on camera.

The female driver reportedly slammed her car into a pedestrian in Zoucheng, east China’s Shandong province, on August 10, 2016, People's Daily reports.

It is alleged the victim flew through the air and landed on the windshield of a car.

Instead of helping the victim, the unidentified woman allegedly drove for 200 metres before smashing into another car.

She finally came to a stop after colliding with another car.

The disturbing video shows the woman, dressed in white tank and white wide-legged pants, getting out of her car.

Instead of trying to save the victim's life, she starts dancing, twirling and making jerking motions, as horrified passersby watched in horror.

She then appears to murmur phrases that are inaudible in the video.

The pedestrian reportedly died while being rushed to the hospital.

The woman was detained by police at the scene.

Initial investigations ruled out the possibility of DUI, but the reason why the woman danced around the body is yet to be revealed.
