Brisbane CBD street reopened following police investigation

Police have reopened Felix Street in Brisbane's CBD following an investigation into two vehicles which had been parked there for several days.

Following the inquiries police have determined that there was no risk to public safety in relation to the cars.

Authorities had said the closure was as a precaution while inquiries were made.

The bomb squad was on scene at one point during the investigation.

The street was shut at around 12.30pm and remained closed for several hours.

The cars have now been removed from the area.
