Man attempts to jump into tiger enclosure from chairlift
Shocking security camera footage has captured the moment a man jumped from a chairlift as it was passing over a tiger enclosure.
The 40-year-old Chinese man was visiting a zoo in central China’s Henan Province on Saturday when he made the dangerous decision.
The man can be seen standing up on the chairlift before launching himself towards the tiger cage.
He falls for several metres then makes a bouncy landing on a safety net above the enclosure.
A tiger circles beneath the fallen man, unsettled by the disturbance.
After several moments a staff member from the zoo climbs up to help bring the man back to safety.
