The 60-year-old was saved by his children, Michael and Lauren, on Saturday morning when he collapsed at home.

Nurse Lauren and YMCA worker Michael were trained to perform CPR and pounded his chest for up to 15 minutes before paramedics arrived and shocked Mr McKay’s heart six times before it started to beat again.

The heart attack was caused by a blocked artery and despite being clinically dead Mr McKay has not suffered brain damage.
