Plane makes emergency landing on busy road

Incredible new vision has emerged of the moment a small plane made an emergency landing on a busy road in California.

The Piper Cherokee aircraft which was being driven by an instructor and student pilot, touched down on an Irvine road during peak hour on September 16, reports The Orange County Register.

Dash cam vision from a vehicle stopped at the lights managed to capture the small plane zooming through an intersection near John Wayne Airport.

Luckily the plane didn’t collide with any other vehicles and came to a stop a short time later. No one was injured during the incident.

This is far from the first time that a pilot has has faced a challenging landing.
