SA men charged over Stereosonic drug plot

Police have intercepted more than 100 ecstasy tablets bound for the Adelaide leg of the Stereosonic music festival.

They arrested three men after finding the tablets and cash at a property in Sturt in Adelaide's southern suburbs.

It's alleged the men intended to sell the tablets at Stereosonic, which kicks off on Friday at the Adelaide Showground.

The three men from Sturt, aged 21, 24 and 25, have been charged with trafficking a controlled drug and will face court early next year.

Police charged 221 revellers with drug offences at Sydney's Stereosonic event last weekend, just three weeks after teenager Georgina Bartter died of a suspected overdose at the Harbourlife festival.
