Ottawa shooting photos: soldier killed, Canada's parliament in lockdown
A soldier has been shot and killed in the Canadian capital Ottawa by a gunman who then entered the national parliament and exchanged gunfire with security officials.
The city went into lockdown after 24-year-old army reservist Nathan Cirillo was killed by a gunman while on duty outside the National War Memorial.
Soon afterwards shots rang out in the Canadian parliament building when the gunman entered the complex, before being shot dead by the Sergeant-At-Arms Kevin Vickers.
