Three arrested in Sydney drug raids

Three members of an alleged cocaine syndicate with links to the notorious Brothers 4 Life gang are in custody following simultaneous raids on five properties across Sydney's south west.

Police seized 100 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of heroin, cash, mobile phones and two vehicles following raids on homes in Auburn and Chester Hill, and three in Guildford just after 7am (AEST) on Tuesday.

The early-morning raids came after a six-month investigation, described by police as "complex and intricate".

Two men, aged 19 and 26, were charged with supplying a commercial quantity of drugs and participating in a criminal group.

Both men faced Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday but were refused bail.

A 20-year-old man charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug and participating in a criminal group was also refused bail and expected to face Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
